We cover Tragically Hip’s “Fireworks”
July 20th, 2009
If you missed us preforming live in Vegreville’s famous Long-term care centre, you can watch this illegal recording that a fan (our mom) caught on tape.
It’s not a great cover, but I’d like to think it’s also not completely terrible. I really like the song and if you want to hear the true version, you can hear it here.

Speaking of fireworks, what do you guys use to resize your comics for upload, if anything?

Those clauses are completely unrelated! But I’ll forgive you that because of fireworks. As for your question, Lance draws all of the comics at 600dpi and resizes in photoshop. For the website, we typically make them 90dpi, because, well, that’s just how we roll.

Thanks! I kind of know how to play Wonderwall, so maybe Evan and I will work on that for the future.
…
Maybe you’re being facetious. You did spell “hot” and “seriously” incorrectly. I don’t know. Anyway, thanks for inspiring me regardless of your intentions.

“Srsly hawt” is a perfectly common phrase in Cherokee. I believe it translates as “earnestly warm.”
